Singapore Sports School Soccer Academy players' fitness and endurance prevail in the final 15 minutes and defeated our boys by 2 goals.

Playing their first friendly match under Mt. Ken Teng after the sacking of John Bilton, the Singapoe Sports School shows our boys what is fitness and endurance.

Playing in the home of Sports School, our boys got the taste of playing in the superb artificial turf and certainly it took a while for our boys to get use to the pitch.

Our boys did well in the 1st 10 to 15 mins to keepthe ball in the opponent's half. However, our boys just failed to convert the two or three chances created.

The score reads 0 - 0 at interval. In the second half, SSS replaces their 2nd choice striker with 1st choice stirker Fadzly. SSS begins to pile on the attack one after another with their speedy midfielders and strikers. Their work rate were so high and certainly you can notice a big improvement in the fitness compared to 4 or 5 months ago.

Our boys were out run in the last 15 minutes, with our players showing signs of fatigues with many of our boys suffering muscle cramp and exhaustion.

In the end, lapse of concentartion by our stopper Hazree, allowed the striker to capitalised on the mistake and score a deserving goal.

Last 10 minutes saw SSS making our defenders and midfielders chasing shadows which allowed Fadzly to score another goal.

Final score, Singapore Sports School 2, Bedok Youth 0.

This is what ex-Singapore coach Mr Vincent Subramaniam has been advocating in the past - FITNESS and ENDURANCE.

Prior to this match, SSS beat Victoria 6 -1 and ACS 10 - 0 in the previous two friendly matches.
